What can you see on the 1100 Altitude Wetland trail?
You can walk the wooden trail laid through the wetland and see the mountain wetland up close, and signs about the animals and plants found here stand along the trail. Wild animals live here, including the falcon, a Class 1 endangered species, and water that collects in the low parts of the wetland becomes drinking water for the wildlife.
Does 1100 Altitude Wetland have facilities for wheelchair users?
There are no steps up to the entrance, so wheelchairs can enter. There is a parking space for people with disabilities and a restroom for people with disabilities (swing door, handrails). Strollers are not available to borrow.
