From the guard post at the top of the south peak, you can see the volcanic cones around Gasi-ri. The trails are confusing and full of thorn bushes, so it is easy to lose your way or get hurt, and long pants are safer. You can go all year with no entrance fee, and parking is available, but some sections may be closed, so it is better to call 064-740-6000 before you visit.
